Must Haves:

• Proven track record in high-speed food processing operations

• Strong skills in labor and cost variance management

• Excellent communication, coaching, and team development abilities

Nice to Have:

• 10+ years of leadership in cheese or food manufacturing

• MBA or Master’s in Engineering

• TPM, Six Sigma, or other CI methodology exposure

• Skilled in project management and cross-functional collaboration

About the Role:
We’re partnering with a Fortune 200 dairy manufacturer to hire an Operations Manager for their flagship, state-of-the-art facility in central Wisconsin. Following a recent $250M modernization, this site is poised for growth — and we’re seeking a hands-on leader who can continue driving world-class performance, with a strong succession path to Manufacturing Site Director.

You'll lead a 24/7 production operation, managing eight salaried leaders and more than 115 hourly team members. You'll shape safety culture, build engaged teams, and implement strategic and operational plans that align with business goals.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead plant operations and drive efficiencies across safety, quality, service, and cost.

• Mentor, coach, and develop salaried and hourly staff to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.

• Identify labor strategy, capital needs, and future talent development.

• Partner with HR on employee relations and engagement.

• Align departmental goals with plant-wide strategy and ensure best practices are implemented and sustained.

• Oversee budget management and capital planning.
