Oracle EBS Applications Lead (Supply Chain)
Austin, TX based client is seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Oracle EBS Applications Lead (Supply Chain) as part of its ongoing ERP transformation on Oracle e-business suite. The successful candidate will possess hands-on expertise in supply chain management processes and a strong understanding of Oracle Supply Chain and Manufacturing modules, with integration to Oracle Finance and Cost management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in defining systems requirements, designing and prototyping solutions, collaborating with users on process transformation, conducting testing, providing training, overseeing go-live, and defining support procedures
- Ability to report to senior management and work with global teams during implementation and post go-live
- Track record of managing work stream scope, change requests, and delivery against milestones, as well as mitigating and remediating risk factors and proposing solutions based on best practices
- Proven ability to balance multiple projects and prioritize competing business needs while consistently delivering high-quality work in a timely manner
- Functional design and configuration experience with a combination of the following Oracle EBS modules: Procure to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash, Cost Management, Inventory, Manufacturing, ASCP, and WIP
- Experience in at least three EBS implementation cycles in the current release of Oracle EBS Applications (R12)
- Over 10 years of functional implementation experience with Oracle EBS (eBusiness Suite)
- Thorough knowledge of EBS integration of Supply Chain, Finance, and manufacturing processes
- Prior experience working with businesses that have intercompany transactions
- A strong combination of skills in the functional and technical aspects of Oracle EBS core applications
- Ability to analyze and manage all operations data, including but not limited to Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, WIP, BOM, and Master Data
- Capability to manage changes required for better adoption of new solution-driven processes
- Experience with AIM methodology and Waterfall/Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct business workshops and document business requirements to gain insights into business demand and initiatives
- Provide hands-on setup and implementation/configuration of functional modules
- Demonstrate the ability to improve process efficiency and drive change within the organization
- Serve as a subject matter expert on business processes and system solutions, supporting the optimization, standardization, and improvement of system solutions and business processes
- Collaborate with supply chain systems providers to understand best practices and deliver new system functionality and solutions for accounting, reporting, and financial planning
- Design relevant KPIs to measure the success of business outcomes and continuously monitor and improve operational efficiency
- Plan and deliver strategic and tactical initiatives to the business using Oracle e-Business Suite manufacturing and supply chain management modules
- Create and review functional requirements, ensuring that development teams create architecturally compliant designs
- Train business users on the new solution and associated processes to promote best practices
- Work collaboratively with business and technical infrastructure teams to produce high-quality system designs, using best practice methodology and technology
- Follow and oversee configuration and change management processes during implementation and application support
- Lead and manage resources from onshore and offshore teams
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to analyze solutions for process improvement
- Take ownership and accountability for the release management process, including prioritizing, planning, building, testing, and executing in compliance with requirements
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or related field, with 10+ years of experience in duties and responsibilities specified above
- Certification in Oracle EBS
Nice to have, but not required:
- Certification in CSCP/CPIM/CPSM
- PMP Certification
