Paralegal (Business/Estate Administration)
Our client is currently seeking an ambitious Business/Estate Administration Paralegal to join their team in Mobile, Alabama. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who can provide support to our experienced team of Business attorneys. This role involves assisting with various estate administration and business transactions. Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively on the preparation of contracts, wills, trusts, and probate filings.
- Create, organize, and manage estate planning, trust administration, and real estate documentation.
- Obtain necessary documents and records from clients and various state and local agencies.
- Liaise with probate courts for estate administration and deed recording purposes.
- Provide direct support to clients by gathering information, scheduling appointments, and delivering documents.
- Take ownership of files, ensuring well-organized schedules and timely completion of projects.
- Maintain professionalism in all client interactions, whether in-person, via phone, or online.
- Accurately record billable time daily and review/edit billing proformas on a monthly basis.
- Effectively manage multiple tasks, delivering high-quality work within specified deadlines.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is required (a four-year degree and/or paralegal certification is preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal in business/corporate law (bankruptcy experience is a plus).
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with document management systems.
- Strong technological skills, including experience with electronic resources and legal support software.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with meticulous proofreading abilities.
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail.
