What We’re Looking For

Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial real estate, in a law firm or in-house legal department
-
Strong experience with title and survey review is essential

Bachelor’s degree is a plus
What You'll Do
In this role, you will provide key legal support to the real estate team, focusing on the following responsibilities:

Review leases and REAs to identify use restrictions, exclusives, and other critical clauses; prepare detailed schedules for pad sales and anchor lease deals

Perform due diligence reviews of legal documents, interpret complex provisions, and provide written summaries

Draft real estate documents such as REA amendments, purchase agreements, and CC&Rs

Track and manage important deadlines and project milestones for anchor tenant transactions

Coordinate title review, resolve title issues, and maintain organized legal databases

Research property ownership records to verify fee and leasehold interests

Support due diligence for shopping center sales, including managing estoppel certificate and SNDA processes

Organize and manage documentation for large transactions, including execution, delivery, and final closing binders

Handle escrow closings for land sales and assist in processing various real estate agreements and certificates
Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000 annually

Bonus: Up to 15% performance-based bonus

Schedule: Hybrid work model – 4 days in-office, 1 day remote
