Patent/IP Litigation Associate/Attorney

Position Overview:
Currently, we are looking for an entry-level associate and an associate with 3+ years of experience in patent and intellectual property litigation. The ideal candidates should possess a technical background, preferably in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field. As members of our legal team, you will have the opportunity to work on intriguing and challenging cases involving all aspects of litigation.
  • Collaborate closely with a trial team on patent and intellectual property litigation matters
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis
  • Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses
  • Organize evidence, exhibits, and witnesses in preparation for trials
  • Effectively communicate with clients, attorneys, experts, and other professionals involved in the case
  • Maintain accurate case records and ensure timely filing of documents
  • Stay updated with changes in laws related to patents and other intellectual property rights
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Texas state bar admission (or ability to waive into the state bar)
  • Technical background, preferably in electrical engineering or computer science
  • Strong academic achievements
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively
  • Preferred experience in patent or other intellectual property litigation for the entry-level position
