Patent/IP Litigation Associate/Attorney

Overview of the Role:
We are currently seeking both entry-level associates and associates with 3+ years of experience in patent and intellectual property litigation. The ideal candidates will have a technical background, preferably in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field. As a member of our legal team, you will have the opportunity to work on complex and compelling cases across all aspects of litigation.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with a trial team on patent and intellectual property litigation cases
• Perform comprehensive legal research and analysis
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses
• Prepare for trials by organizing evidence, exhibits, and witnesses
• Maintain effective communication with clients, attorneys, experts, and other professionals involved in the case
• Ensure accurate case records and timely filing of documents
• Stay abreast of changes in laws pertaining to patents and other intellectual property rights
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Delaware state bar (or eligibility to waive into the state bar)
• Technical background, preferably in electrical engineering or computer science
• Strong academic achievements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in patent or other intellectual property litigation is preferred but not required for the entry-level position.
