Patent/IP Litigation Associate/Attorney

Our patent and intellectual property litigation department is expanding, and we are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
We are currently hiring for the role of Patent/IP Litigation Counsel, including an entry-level associate and an associate with 3+ years of experience in patent and intellectual property litigation. The ideal candidates should possess a technical background, preferably in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field. As a member of our legal team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging cases across all facets of litigation.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with a trial team on patent and intellectual property litigation cases
• Conduct extensive legal research and analysis
• Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, as well as discovery requests and responses
• Organize evidence, exhibits, and witnesses to prepare for trials
• Establish effective communication with clients, attorneys, experts, and other professionals involved in the case
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and ensure timely filing of documents
• Stay abreast of changes in laws pertaining to patents and other intellectual property rights
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New Jersey state bar (or eligibility to waive into the state bar)
• Technical background, preferably in electrical engineering or computer science
• Outstanding academic achievements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated individuals who excel both independently and as part of a team
Prior experience in patent or other intellectual property litigation is preferred but not required for the entry-level position.
