Patent/IP Litigation Associate/Attorney

Position Overview:
We are currently looking for an entry level associate as well as an associate with 3+ years of experience in patent and intellectual property litigation. The ideal candidates should possess a technical background, preferably in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field. As part of our legal team, you will have the opportunity to handle challenging and intriguing cases encompassing all aspects of litigation.
• Collaborate closely with a trial team on matters pertaining to patent and intellectual property litigation
• Conduct extensive legal research and analysis
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses
• Organize evidence, exhibits, and witnesses in preparation for trials
• Maintain effective communication with clients, attorneys, experts, and other professionals involved in the case
• Ensure accurate case records are maintained and documents are filed in a timely manner
• Stay updated with changes in laws concerning patents and other intellectual property rights
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York state bar (or ability to waive into the state bar)
• Technical background, preferably in electrical engineering or computer science
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated individual who excels both independently and as part of a team
Experience in patent or other intellectual property litigation is desirable but not required for the entry level position.
