Our Requirements:
An associate degree in accounting or a related field is mandatory, while a bachelor's degree is preferred.
A minimum of four years of experience in payroll, HR, or accounting is required, including familiarity with HRIS and financial systems.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and web-based applications is expected.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to comprehend payroll regulations and educate others accordingly.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is highly desirable.
Working Hours and Compensation:
This is a full-time onsite position with an annual salary range of $58,000 to $76,000, depending on experience.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including relocation assistance up to $5,000.
Your Responsibilities:
As the Payroll Administrator, your key role will involve ensuring accurate and prompt payroll processing.
Under the guidance of the Controller, you will oversee payroll functions while managing employee benefit plans and collaborating with the Human Resources Department.
Main Duties:
Effectively process bi-weekly payroll, complying with labor contracts, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.
Enter and review payroll data, making necessary adjustments to resolve any errors.
Collaborate with the Human Resources Department on payroll-related matters and policy adherence.
Reconcile quarterly and yearly tax reports, ensuring the accuracy of W-2 forms.
Maintain employee records and update HRIS with relevant payroll information.
Act as the Timekeeping System Administrator, working with vendors and other departments to ensure the system's functionality.
Ensure the confidentiality of personnel records and comply with the organization's policies and procedures.
Additional Information:
This position concentrates solely on payroll for the entire organization, utilizing Premier ERP, UKG, and WFD (a timecard platform). Familiarity with Premier ERP is preferred.
