Qualifications:
An associate degree in accounting or a related field is required, while a bachelor's degree is preferred.
A minimum of four years of experience in payroll, HR, or accounting, with proficiency in HRIS and financial systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and web-based applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to interpret and educate others on payroll laws.
Preferred certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Hours and Compensation:
This is a full-time position based on-site, offering an annual salary ranging from $58,000 to $76,000, depending on experience.
Comprehensive benefits package, including relocation assistance of up to $5,000.
Responsibilities:
In your role as a Payroll Administrator, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing.
Under the supervision of the Controller, you will oversee payroll functions, manage employee benefit plans, and collaborate with the Human Resources Department.
Key Duties:
Accurately process bi-weekly payroll in compliance with labor contracts, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.
Input and review payroll data, making necessary adjustments to address errors.
Collaborate with the Human Resources Department regarding payroll-related matters and policy adherence.
Reconcile quarterly and annual tax reports and ensure the accuracy of W-2 forms.
Maintain employee records and update HRIS with relevant payroll information.
Function as the Timekeeping System Administrator, coordinating with vendors and other departments to ensure system functionality.
Maintain the confidentiality of personnel records and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
Additional Information:
This position is strictly focused on payroll for the entire organization, utilizing Premier ERP, UKG, and WFD (a timecard platform). Familiarity with Premier ERP is preferred.
The organization has recently begun construction on a new hospital, which is set to be completed in two years, thus providing opportunities for growth into a new space.
