Hours and Compensation:
• This is a full-time position with day shift hours.
• Compensation ranges from $19.93 to $27.44 per hour, depending on experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements:
• Minimum of two years of experience in payroll or a related field.
• High school diploma or higher education.
• Familiarity with the Workday payroll system is advantageous.
• Proficiency in PC skills and computer software applications, along with previous experience in payroll systems.
• Good understanding of governmental regulations impacting payroll processes.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and coordinate the creation of weekly, biweekly, and monthly payroll reports, including data processing for accurate and timely issuance of paychecks to employees and affiliated companies within the healthcare system.
• Provide clear and detailed communication to both internal and external customers.
• Compile and analyze data/reports in order to distribute them accurately to customers.
• Maintain or facilitate training for all Approvers/Editors in the API Time and Attendance System.
• Prepare and submit all necessary government tax forms on a weekly, biweekly, and monthly basis according to payroll cycles.
• Acquire knowledge of and implement any functional processes or operational changes in all payroll systems.
• Troubleshoot payroll computer applications and apply appropriate solutions.
• Initiate and complete all technical payroll processing procedures for weekly, biweekly, and monthly payrolls.
• Enforce governmental regulation standards that impact departmental processes.
• Facilitate any changes or system table setups related to Payroll in the Peoplesoft and API Systems.
• Serve as a resource for payroll associates, contributing to their professional development.
• Function as a resource for approvers, timekeepers, and management staff.
• Act as a backup and perform the duties of the payroll manager when necessary.
Additional Information:
This position reports to the Payroll Manager and is part of a three-person team. The payroll responsibilities extend to over 4,000 employees and physicians.
Preferably seeking candidates who are already based in Ohio.
