The Critical Care Nurse Practitioner provides specialized care and treatment to patients with complex medical conditions, including post-operative surgical care, mechanical ventilation support, and administration of anticoagulant therapy.

Required Qualifications :
Nurse Practitioner I
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience working as an RN in a critical care setting. RNs without critical care experience will be considered for Transitional Care only
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing with a critical care nurse practitioner specialization
Nurse Practitioner II
  • Minimum of six (6) months of critical care NP experience. NPs without critical care experience will be trained to cover Transitional Care only
 
 
Certifications Needed
  • ACNPC-AG
  • PALS
  • BLS
