Summary: An expanding healthcare organization is seeking a Medical Director for a full-time position and one to two part-time Board Certified Physiatrists to work in a rapidly growing rehabilitation hospital. This hospital is affiliated with a highly reputable and established group known for delivering exceptional clinical outcomes. As a Physiatrist, you will function as part of a consultative service, collaborating with a hospitalist group that handles admissions and attending responsibilities. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with structured call until evening hours.

This opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, at a 40-bed rehab hospital. The position offers a rotational schedule with shifts lasting 6-8 hours, depending on efficiency. This flexibility allows for excellent work-life balance, with the ability to adjust starting and ending times. As patient volume increases, there will be support from Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and a scribe for assistance with documentation. Additionally, this role provides the potential to grow a local outpatient practice and offers a partnership track opportunity. A robust hourly compensation and benefits package is provided. The Physiatrist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients within a patient-centered and compassionate environment, as part of an interdisciplinary clinical team.

Requirements:

- Must be board certified or board eligible.

- Full Missouri medical licensure or eligibility for application.

- Possession of Federal DEA and either possess or be eligible for an Indiana Controlled Substance Certificate.

- Previous experience in directorship roles or leadership positions for medical directors.
