REHABILITATION SPECIALIST

Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Description:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in Nampa, ID. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to patients, helping them regain their mobility, manage pain, and improve their overall quality of life. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to our mission of delivering personalized and effective therapy programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
  • Create personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals, using various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
  • Implement and administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, flexibility, and function.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans for optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapy procedures, home exercises, and injury prevention techniques.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy techniques, technologies, and best practices.
  • Ensure patients comply with the Plan of Care and follow up when necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with non-clinical staff to support the needs of the caseload.
  • Delegate tasks appropriately and utilize Physical Therapist Assistants when applicable.
  • Promote a collaborative culture based on our service vision.
  • Adapt to changes in patient schedules and daily patterns.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards, complying with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • CPR certification and any other relevant certifications required by state regulations.
  • Strong clinical skills, preferably in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric physical therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.

Physical Requirements:

  • Mobility: Ability to move freely to assist patients and therapists.
  • Lifting: Capable of lifting and carrying equipment or assisting patients (up to 50 pounds).
  • Standing: Extended periods of standing and walking during therapy sessions.
  • Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in handling therapy tools and equipment.
  • Visual and Auditory Skills: Ability to observe patients and communicate effectively.
  • Flexibility: Adaptability to changing tasks and schedules in a dynamic healthcare environment.
