Responsibilities:

• Assessing and documenting motor function, strength, and muscle performance of patients.
• Collaborating with physical therapists to create effective treatment plans.
• Observing patients and preparing progress reports.
• Evaluating patients' ability to function independently.
• Assisting patients with specific exercises.
• Applying various techniques, such as stretching and massage, to treat patients.
• Providing guidance to patients on proper exercise techniques to improve muscle strength and mobility.
• Maintaining confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
• Ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
• Adhering to legal and professional requirements at the federal, state, and local levels.
• Contributing to the overall team effort.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited PTA Program.
• Must hold a valid PTA License in the state of New York.
• Prior experience is preferred.
