Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA - Full Time

We are looking for a qualified and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team and work alongside our physical therapist to provide outstanding care to our patients.

Your main responsibility will be assisting individuals in improving their mobility and functionality while dealing with medical conditions or limitations.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their treatment goals by conducting manual physical exercises, guiding and supporting individuals in non-manual exercises and daily activities, and implementing assistive care. You will also assess and interpret evaluations and test results, collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate treatment plans, and accurately document patient care services in compliance with legal and professional guidelines. Your duties will include:

  • Performing follow-up visits for home health orthopedic patients
  • Continuously meeting eligibility requirements for home health services
  • Providing assistance to patients in using supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses
  • Offering instructions and counseling to patients on therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, and promoting wellness
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to protocols and infection-control policies
  • Monitoring treatment trends and ensuring actual physical therapy services align with production objectives
  • Driver's license is required

  • Completion of an accredited Assistant Therapy Assistant Program

  • In-state licensure

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a home health setting

  • Strong interpersonal skills and compassion

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
