Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA - Full Time

We are looking for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who is highly knowledgeable and qualified to work alongside our physical therapist in delivering outstanding care to our patients.

As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping individuals enhance their mobility and functionality despite medical conditions or limitations.

The Physical Therapist Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting patient treatment plans and facilitating therapeutic activities. This includes administering manual physical exercises, guiding and motivating patients in non-manual exercises, assisting with ambulatory functional activities and daily living tasks, as well as providing necessary supportive care. The PTA will assess evaluations and test results, collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate physical therapy treatment plans, and accurately document patient care services in compliance with legal and professional requirements. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting follow-up visits for orthopedic patients receiving home health services
  • Continuously meeting eligibility requirements for home health services
  • Aiding patients in the utilization of supportive devices such as crutches, canes, and prostheses
  • Providing instructions and counseling to patients on therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, and promoting wellness and health maintenance
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, regulations, and infection-control policies and protocols
  • Monitoring current treatment trends and ensuring that physical therapy services meet production objectives
  • Driving is a requirement for this position

  • Completion of an accredited Assistant Therapy Assistant Program

  • Must hold a valid state licensure

  • Minimum of 1 year of home health experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic approach

  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean DMV record
