Description:
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping patients achieve their treatment goals. This involves conducting manual physical exercises, guiding and motivating patients through non-manual exercises and functional activities, and supporting them in their daily living tasks. You will also be responsible for providing quality care by applying assistive techniques and assessing evaluations and test results. Working in consultation with physicians, you will determine appropriate physical therapy treatment plans. In addition, you will maintain accurate and compliant patient records by adhering to legal and professional requirements and staying informed about relevant legislation. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing follow-up visits for home health patients
• Meeting all eligibility requirements for home health services
• Providing maintenance therapy
• Requiring the ability to drive

• Successful completion of an accredited Assistant Therapy Assistant Program

• Valid California state licensure

• At least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a home health setting

• Strong interpersonal skills and genuine care for others

• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
