Description:
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, your role will involve assisting patients in implementing and performing their treatment plans, including manual physical exercises, non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities. You will also provide assistive and supportive quality care. Additionally, you will evaluate and interpret test results and evaluations, consult with physicians to determine treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation of patient care services in accordance with legal and professional requirements. You will also stay informed about existing and new legislation and provide recommendations to management regarding compliance and necessary actions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting follow-up visits for orthopedic patients receiving home health care
• Meeting ongoing eligibility requirements for home health services
• Providing maintenance therapy
• Driving is a requirement

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program

• Must possess a valid California state licensure

• At least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a home health setting

• Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic approach

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
