Description:
Our Physical Therapist Assistant plays a crucial role in helping patients achieve their treatment goals by implementing manual physical exercises, providing guidance and assistance with non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living tasks. Additionally, you will apply assistive and supportive quality care. You will assess and interpret evaluations and test results, in consultation with physicians, to determine appropriate physical therapy treatment plans. Compliance with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements is essential, and you will document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Our ideal candidate will have a proactive approach, staying updated on existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, and advising management on necessary actions. Your responsibilities will also include:

• Visiting home health patients for follow-up sessions
• Ensuring continued eligibility for home health services
• Providing maintenance therapy
• Ability to drive is a requirement for this position

• Graduation from an accredited Assistant Therapy Assistant Program

• Valid California state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a home health setting

• Strong interpersonal skills with a caring attitude

• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
