Description:
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for helping patients achieve their treatment goals and engaging them in therapeutic activities. This includes administering manual physical exercises, providing instruction and support for non-manual exercises and daily activities, and applying high-quality assistive care. In consultation with physicians, you will assess and interpret evaluations and test results to determine the best physical therapy treatment plans. Additionally, you will document patient care services in compliance with legal and professional requirements, staying up to date with existing and new legislation and advising management on any necessary actions. Your duties will include:

• Conducting follow-up visits for home health patients
• Maintaining eligibility requirements for home health services
• Providing maintenance therapy
• Required to have a valid driver's license

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program

• Must possess licensure in the state of California

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a home health setting

• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate attitude

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
