Job Description: Physical Therapist Assistant

  • Assist in providing hands-on treatment sessions while under the guidance of a Physical Therapist
  • Educate patients about their condition, treatment plan, and progress
  • Motivate patients to take responsibility for attending and following therapy programs
  • Accurately document each visit and update treatment plans as needed
  • Follow the therapist's plan of care and relay any patient updates
  • Supervise therapy technicians to ensure smooth treatment sessions
  • Maintain records of case management and productivity reports
  • Support marketing efforts as required

Qualifications

  • Hold an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting
  • Possess Wyoming Physical Therapist Assistant Certification or eligibility to obtain it
  • Exhibit strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about helping patients achieve their recovery goals
