Description of Role
  • Delivers high-quality therapy services in accordance with the relevant Standards of Practice
  • Evaluates patients and creates personalized treatment plans with short and long-term objectives
  • Monitors and informs the attending physician about the patient's progress, response to treatments, and any changes in their condition; adjusts treatment plan as necessary
  • Teaches patients, caregivers, and other healthcare team members techniques for enhancing and addressing disabilities
  • Maintains regular communication with physicians and other members of the healthcare team
  • Develops practical and achievable long-term goals for smooth patient discharge, which can be modified as conditions evolve
  • Prepares the patient and their caregiver for post-discharge care
  • Reports any significant patient, family, or physician concerns to the Clinical Director

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Must possess an active state license, CPR certification, driver's license, and automobile liability insurance
  • A comprehensive understanding of professional theory, techniques, principles, practice, and equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively document patient care
  • Aptitude for establishing productive relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, physicians, and the general public
  • New Grads will be considered, although 1+ years of experience is preferred
