About the Role
  • Delivers high-quality physical therapy services in accordance with the established Standards of Practice
  • Conducts thorough assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans with both short and long-term goals
  • Monitors and reports patient progress, treatment reactions, and any changes in condition to the attending physician, making necessary modifications to the treatment plan
  • Provides instruction to patients, caregivers, and healthcare team members on effective techniques to improve and address disabilities
  • Maintains regular communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Develops realistic and attainable long-term goals for patient discharge, adjusting them as necessary as the patient's condition evolves
  • Prepares patients and caregivers for care after discharge
  • Informs the Clinical Director of any significant patient, family, or physician concerns

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Current state licensure, CPR certification, driver’s license, and automobile liability insurance required
  • In-depth knowledge of professional theory, practice, techniques, principles, and equipment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively document patient care
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, physicians, and the general public
  • New graduates will be considered, although 1+ year of experience is preferred
