Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent therapy services in accordance with established Standards of Practice
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans with both short and long-term goals
- Monitor and communicate patient progress, treatment reactions, and any changes in condition to the attending physician; adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide instruction to patients, caregivers, and healthcare team members on techniques for improving and addressing disabilities
- Maintain regular communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Create realistic and achievable long-term goals for patient discharge, adjusting as needed with changing conditions
- Prepare patients and their caregivers for post-discharge care
- Report significant patient, family, or physician concerns to the Clinical Director
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must possess a current state license, CPR certification, driver’s license, and automobile liability insurance
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of professional theory, practice, techniques, principles, and equipment
- Exhibit effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to document patient care accurately
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, physicians, and the general public
- New Grads will be considered, preference given to candidates with at least 1 year of experience
