Your Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients and develop personalized plans of care, ensuring treatment plans are followed.
  • Deliver direct therapy care while supervising physical therapist assistants and ensuring adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Manage rehabilitative services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapies, overseeing personnel, budget, and equipment resources.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures.
  • Recruit, train, and retain departmental personnel, conducting performance reviews and maintaining licensure requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer to prepare the department's annual budget and review monthly reports.
  • Develop, review, and revise departmental policies and procedures, adhering to hospital policies and regulations.

Your Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Physical Therapist license in Kansas with experience in acute care, emergency room, swing bed, and outpatient settings.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Show commitment to providing optimal patient care and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to participate in educational programs, hospital meetings, and continuing education as required.

Additional Information:

Work alongside a great staff, including 1 FT Physical Therapist, 1 FT CPTA, 1 part-time CPTA, 1 Contracted CPTA (who fills in as needed), and 1 FT Occupational Therapist.
