We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our Physician and Provider Relations and Outreach team as a Hospital Generalist. In this role, you will contribute to the success of our Health System operations.

As the PPRO Liaison, you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on service line volumes, competitor data, and physician referral patterns. You will have a deep understanding of key business drivers, medical trends, and service line performance metrics.

  • Develop strategic business development plans for each service line based on internal and external data.
  • Regularly visit hospitals and clinics to establish and maintain strong relationships with community providers and referral sources.
  • Ensure effective communication of hospital and medical group services to providers in primary and secondary service areas.
  • Collaborate with hospital and service line leadership to implement PPRO goals and track key performance indicators.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify growth opportunities and drive results.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a representative of hospital leadership and operations to influence market share and customer engagement.
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with customers, including physicians and providers.
  • Provide strategic direction and market intelligence to support growth strategies and initiatives.
  • Identify business development opportunities and create data-driven growth plans.
  • Present growth plans to facility leadership and demonstrate high business acumen.
  • Analyze data and track results to meet targets for assigned service lines.
  • Maintain accurate account and contact information in CRM tool.
  • Prospect for new business and increase market share.
  • Create and communicate key service line messages aligned with marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with physician practice operations leadership to manage operational opportunities.
  • Identify barriers to business growth, recommend solutions, and implement communication strategies.
  • Analyze marketplace opportunities and develop data-driven strategic growth plans.
  • Create customer-focused practices and prioritize customer perspective in decision-making.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with physician and provider relations team members and key stakeholders.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures to ensure compliance and patient safety.
  • Demonstrate an ownership mentality and thrive in a matrixed environment.
  • Work with analytics team to identify new business opportunities and changing trends.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous hospital or healthcare experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry and current economic trends and challenges.
  • Ability to think strategically and drive growth effectively.

Ideal Candidate

  • Knowledge of the healthcare landscape in Amarillo and the surrounding area.
  • Preference for candidates already residing in the market, but open to candidates willing to relocate with prior knowledge of the healthcare landscape in Amarillo.
