Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our highly esteemed orthopedic surgery practice located in Monroe, LA. As part of our cohesive team of orthopedic surgeons specializing in various fields, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth operations within our practice.
Job Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Collaborate with surgeons in the operating room, providing valuable surgical assistance
- Participate in rounding activities to assess and monitor patient progress
- Conduct consultations alongside physicians, discussing treatment options with patients
- Share responsibility for clinic and hospital call coverage on a rotational basis (1:7)
- Hold valid certification as a Physician Assistant
- Applications from recent graduate Physician Assistants will be considered
Salary and Benefits
- We offer a highly competitive base salary, with opportunities for additional annual incentives, resulting in a total compensation of $125k to $175k
