- We are currently seeking Full-time Physician Assistants to join our expanding team and provide access to care in Penn Yan and neighboring communities.
Responsibilities:
Provision of Care: Deliver exceptional medical care with supervision/collaboration from the attending physician. Possess a strong understanding of human development, assess patient data accurately, and interpret information essential for addressing age-specific needs. Administer healthcare by diagnosing illnesses, conducting physical examinations, and recording comprehensive medical status, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients of all age groups.
Patient Satisfaction: Ensure patients and their families are well-informed about their care process, attending to their needs throughout their visit. Involve family members or significant others in the care process, when appropriate.
Documentation: Gather complete and detailed patient histories, review medical records, perform thorough physical exams, and record essential data to establish comprehensive medical status, diagnoses, and clinical treatment plans for assigned patients.
Qualifications:
- Certification as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant by the New York State Education Department (NYSED).
- Master's Degree in Nursing or Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED)
