Job Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Beaver Dam, KY

Responsibilities: A reputable poultry processing plant is seeking a skilled professional to oversee the daily supervision of the staff in order to achieve necessary production and quality standards while prioritizing safety. The successful candidate will also be responsible for fostering positive relationships within the production team. Specifically, this role will involve:

1. Developing, monitoring, and taking responsibility for the operating and capital budgets of the facility.
2. Ensuring the fulfillment of all operational plans, including meeting yield, efficiency, and quality requirements.
3. Implementing processes to minimize employee turnover, enhance safety measures, and establish the facility as an employer of choice.
4. Providing ongoing training to improve the supervisory skills of staff members and enhance the capabilities of hourly production associates.
5. Continuously innovating and implementing new strategies to enhance operational performance, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
6. Supporting and promoting the company's annual goals through effective planning, communication, and fostering an efficient and effective workforce.

Requirements: The successful candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management, Agriculture, or a related discipline, combined with 8-10 years of relevant work experience.
2. A minimum of 6 years of experience in poultry processing.
3. A proven track record of leadership and the ability to inspire others.
4. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and protocols and deliver them on time.
5. Analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of addressing issues at both a strategic and functional level.
6. Prior experience in a supervisory role.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively communicating with individuals at all levels of the organization.
8. Availability to travel to other facilities and plants for meetings and company-related matters.
