Plumbing Design Engineer in Lakewood, CO

We are currently seeking an experienced Plumbing System Engineer/Designer with at least 4 years of
relevant experience to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who have previous
experience in the building consulting engineering industry as a project designer, engineer, or
project manager. We are also open to considering Senior Plumbing Engineers/Designers who have
experience mentoring a plumbing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for
designing plumbing systems for institutional and commercial buildings, and should be proficient in
using Revit (minimum 2 years' experience) and AutoCAD for drafting and designing Plumbing
Systems.

Key Responsibilities:
∙ Perform detailed and comprehensive design tasks.
∙ Possess knowledge of plumbing design elements in healthcare, institutional, and educational
facilities.
∙ Utilize 3D Revit and 2D CAD software for design work.
∙ Receive project assignments from the firm’s Principals, Senior Associates/Associates, or Senior
Engineers/Project Managers.
∙ Identify and find solutions for problems, seeking advice from Principals, Senior
Associates/Associates, or Senior Engineers/Project Managers when necessary.
∙ Complete project designs, drawings, specifications, system studies, calculations, correspondence,
survey, code studies, and construction administration as required.

The ideal candidate should possess:
∙ Proficiency in current Building Codes.
∙ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
∙ Excellent attention to detail.
∙ Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
∙ Strong interpersonal skills.
∙ Positive attitude is a MUST.
