Product Engineer

Location: Oconomowoc, WI

Our client is currently seeking a qualified Development Engineer to join their team. This position is located in Oconomowoc, WI and offers excellent opportunities for career growth. As a Development Engineer, you will be working with clients in the aerospace and defense industries, specifically focusing on the space industry. The company is conveniently located between Madison and Milwaukee.

· Manage select customer product lines, including new product development, molds and tooling design, order review, initial production, and continuous improvement activities for existing products.

· Create manufacturing routings and bill-of-materials to meet customer requirements and specifications.

· Collaborate with Customers, Process Engineers, Quality, Sales, and Operations to enhance product line performance.

· Ensure high levels of customer service.

· Support the identification and implementation of technical market strategies and contribute to new business development.


· BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, etc.)

· Over 5 years of experience in the casting/foundry industry, preferably with complex parts. Experience in vacuum investment casting is a plus.

· Proficient in design software, particularly SolidWorks, with a focus on gating and riser design

· Ability to create BOMs and routings

· Sound knowledge of casting processes, simulations, and modeling

· Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
