Production Manager – 3rd shift

REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. However, candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role with a significant level of responsibility in the poultry production industry. Comparable experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Poultry processing experience is a must.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle high-pressure situations.
  • Capable of managing multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities.


**This position requires working hours from 10 pm to 8 am. **

  • Organize and oversee daily operational requirements, ensuring consistent customer satisfaction through direct involvement in the production process.
  • Supervise the implementation of employee development programs to ensure that the company's needs are met in terms of employee knowledge, training, and growth.
  • Directly supervise production supervisors, lead monitors, and hourly employees. Provide guidance to direct reports on disciplinary actions, performance assessments, and effective communication with hourly associates.
  • Set performance expectations, monitor results, and ensure accountability.
  • Monitor staffing needs to align with company objectives.
  • Maintain a positive work environment that encourages maximum employee engagement through department meetings, an open-door policy, team activities, and empowerment initiatives.
  • Serve as a champion for company-wide safety programs and initiatives.
