Production Operator
· Actively participate in daily meetings, comprehend instructions and duties, and arrange the necessary manufacturing processes to produce high-quality and safe products.
· Adhere to written instructions provided on all production/packaging documents, such as Batch Records, Inventory Sheets, and Log Books, to ensure the manufacturing of safe and effective products.
· Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to equipment, products, and processes to ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations.
· Safely transport raw materials weighing at least 50lbs and employ proper lifting techniques.
· Verify and calculate quantities of raw materials as necessary.
· Perform equipment setup and adjustments to ensure optimal efficiency and production of safe and effective products.
· Operate equipment and ensure proper cleaning within cGMP guidelines, SOPs, and specific instructions provided.
· Adhere to standard operating procedures for cleaning rooms and equipment, as well as perform basic maintenance tasks.
· Complete all necessary documentation according to SOPs, cGMP guidelines, and specific instructions.
· Continuously review work for accuracy, identifying and reporting any discrepancies or errors to the immediate supervisor or designee.
· Train and document the training of new employees on equipment operation, proper documentation practices, equipment safety, SOPs, and GMPs as instructed by the supervisor or designee.
Operators will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to: hair nets, beard covers, face masks, respirators, uniforms, safety shoes, and safety glasses.
· Perform other assigned duties and follow verbal and written instructions provided by the supervisor or designee to achieve company goals and objectives.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum of two years of experience within the pharmaceutical, dietary supplement, or food industry
- Familiarity with cGMP regulations and experience working within a cGMP environment
- High school diploma or GED with relevant experience
