Our client, a prestigious law firm ranked in the top 100, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join their Trial Practice Group at their Philadelphia office. In this role, the attorney will primarily handle cases involving product liability and general litigation. This position does not offer the opportunity for partnership.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Must have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a well-regarded law school with excellent academic performance.
- Must be admitted to the Pennsylvania State Bar or the New Jersey State Bar.
- The ideal candidate will possess 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in products liability litigation related to toxic tort as well as general litigation.
- Must have strong presence and advocacy skills, with the ability to inspire confidence.
- Exceptional research and writing skills are required.
- Entrepreneurial drive and proactive attitude are highly valued.
- Prior knowledge or experience in asbestos litigation would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a variety of products liability and toxic tort cases, overseeing all aspects of litigation from discovery to resolution.
- Conduct legal research, draft motions, and prepare pleadings and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and trials.
- Collaborate with the trial team to develop and implement effective litigation strategies.
