Heavy Civil Project Manager  (NCDOT / SCDOT Projects)

What You’ll Do:

• Manage all phases of heavy civil construction projects from start to finish

• Develop project plans, schedules, and cost projections aligned with engineering and DOT standards

• Maintain tight control over budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure profitability

• Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards (including Incident & Injury-Free culture)

• Lead coordination with field superintendents and resolve project plan discrepancies

• Approve equipment/personnel requisitions and manage subcontractor relationships

• Conduct weekly project reviews focused on schedule, budget, and performance

• Provide senior management with clear documentation, reports, and financial forecasting

What You Bring:

• Hands-on PM experience in heavy highway or civil infrastructure construction

• Knowledge of DOT procedures, civil site work, and project documentation

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, resolve conflicts, and deliver on aggressive timelines

• Excellent communication, decision-making, and organizational skills

• Commitment to project excellence and team collaboration
