Construction Project Manager (Heavy Highway)

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of construction projects, from planning to completion. This role involves coordinating subcontractors, managing budgets and schedules, ensuring compliance with contracts and regulations, and fostering strong communication among all project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules, ensuring optimal resource allocation.

• Select, contract, and manage subcontractors throughout all phases of the project.

• Oversee contractor performance to ensure work aligns with project specifications, architectural and engineering drawings, and applicable regulations.

• Administer construction contracts and secure all necessary permits and approvals.

• Supervise assistant project managers, review progress reports, resolve issues, and enforce strict safety protocols.

• Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

• Communicate regularly with owners and architects, providing progress updates and recommending adjustments as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering, or Architecture. Additional training in Business Administration or Accounting is a plus.

• At least 5 years of experience managing or assisting on complex construction projects.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining strong attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
