Project Manager

Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic team. As a valuable member of the specialty services division, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing complex electrical and engineering projects. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are completed within the specified timeframe, scope, and budget. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about making a significant impact.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating project goals by examining project specifications, drawings, and related documents.
• Creating and managing comprehensive project schedules to ensure the timely completion of critical tasks.
• Supervising the procurement of supplies and materials, and participating in project cost evaluations.
• Coordinating subcontractor activities to ensure alignment with project scope and safety regulations.
• Monitoring project resources and progress, and identifying potential change order opportunities.
• Managing project billing, scheduling, and close-out documentation.
• Cultivating strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and team members.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and effectively managing project timelines and budgets.

Requirements

• Preferred Associate’s degree or Engineering Degree in a relevant field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in Project Management within engineering, BMS/BAS, HVAC, construction, or critical facilities operations.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret MEP drawings, electrical, network, and control wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a self-motivated and team-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage client relationships and deliver projects.
• Knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership techniques.
