PROPERTY & CASUALTY INSURANCE ATTORNEY JUNIOR TO SENIOR ASSOCIATE

Location: New York, NY or New Jersey

Our esteemed client, a leading national AmLaw 200 law firm, seeks a highly qualified and driven Associate Attorney with a strong background in insurance coverage and/or commercial litigation. We are looking to add a valuable member to our team, based in either New York or New Jersey.

Applicants with experience in insurance-related litigation/arbitration, complex business litigation, or commercial matters will be strongly considered.

Desired Profile:

• Must possess a JD from an esteemed, top-tier law school, demonstrating excellent academic records.
• Active bar license in either New York or New Jersey.
• 2 to 6 years of experience in insurance coverage and/or commercial litigation.
• Preference given to those with experience in insurance-related litigation or arbitration, and complex business or commercial matters.
• Strong writing skills are essential; having a federal or New York Commercial Division clerkship experience is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• A core commitment towards providing superior client service and professional excellence.

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage cases involving insurance coverage and commercial litigation by drafting and reviewing legal documents and preparing for trial.
• Offer strategic legal guidance for insurance-related and commercial matters.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to formulate effective case strategies and deliver exceptional client service.
