PROPERTY & CASUALTY INSURANCE ATTORNEY JUNIOR TO SENIOR ASSOCIATE

Location: New York, NY or New Jersey

Our client, a well-respected national law firm, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate with 2-6 years of expertise in insurance coverage and commercial litigation to join their team in either New York or New Jersey.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in insurance-related litigation/arbitration, complex business litigation, or commercial matters.

Candidate Profile:

• JD from a top-tier law school, holding an outstanding academic record.
• Active bar license in New York or New Jersey
• 2 to 6 years of experience in insurance coverage and/or commercial litigation.
• Preference given to those with experience in insurance-related litigation or arbitration, as well as complex business or commercial matters.
• Strong writing skills are mandatory; federal or New York Commercial Division clerkship experience is desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to function both independently and in a collaborative manner within a fast-paced environment.
• A strong dedication to maintaining high standards of client service and professional integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee insurance coverage and commercial litigation cases, including the preparation of legal documentation and trial readiness.
• Provide strategic legal advice relating to insurance and commercial matters.
• Collaborate closely with clients and colleagues to develop effective case strategies and ensure exceptional client service.
