MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE
Location: Atlanta, GA
Our client is a prominent national firm in the AmLaw 200 and they have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated Associate to join their Atlanta office. The focus of this role is on Property & Casualty Insurance Litigation. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of experience in insurance coverage litigation.
Candidate Profile:
- Graduated from a prestigious law school with exceptional academic records.
- Preferably holds an active Georgia bar license, but the firm is open to considering highly qualified candidates who wish to relocate to Atlanta.
- Has 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in insurance coverage litigation and possesses a comprehensive understanding of insurance coverage and carrier matters.
- Prior experience with bad faith insurance issues is strongly desired.
- Exhibits outstanding legal research and writing abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as this role requires both independent work and collaboration with a team.
- Preference will be given to those who have completed a federal or state appellate clerkship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and handle complex insurance coverage cases, which includes drafting and reviewing various legal documents such as briefs, complaints, and motions.
- Provide strategic advice and representation to clients on insurance coverage issues, including bad faith claims.
- Work closely with experienced attorneys to develop and implement case strategies.
- Build direct relationships with clients and provide practical solutions for intricate insurance matters.
