LEGAL ASSOCIATE - PROPERTY AND CASUALTY INSURANCE FIRM
Location: Orlando, FL
Our esteemed client, a reputable national law practice, is in search of a highly skilled and enthusiastic Legal Associate to join their esteemed Property and Casualty Insurance division in Orlando.
Required Qualifications:
- Successful completion of Juris Doctor (JD) from a prestigious law school with a commendable academic background.
- Mandatory Bar Admission in the state of Florida.
- Proven track record of 3-5 years handling substantial litigation matters, specifically emphasizing civil litigation within the local judiciary.
- Preference given to candidates with prior experience in first-party insurance and bad faith insurance litigation, as well as exposure to federal court litigation.
- Exceptional legal writing and persuasive presentation skills, backed by strong organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the complete life cycle of property and casualty insurance litigation proceedings, including the drafting of pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Act as legal representation for clients in both state and federal court, placing particular emphasis on handling first-party and bad faith insurance affairs.
- Provide well-informed counsel to clients on intricate insurance litigation concerns.
- Engage in collaborative efforts with an attorney team to foster effective litigation strategies and proficient case management.
