PROPERTY & CASUALTY INSURANCE ASSOCIATE

Location: Tampa, Florida

Our client, a prestigious national law firm ranked in the top 200, is in search of a highly skilled and motivated associate with at least 2 to 6 years of experience in insurance litigation. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of insurance coverage matters, and proficiency in handling bad faith insurance cases would be advantageous.

Candidate Profile:

• The candidate must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a reputable law school, with excellent academic qualifications.
• Active membership in the Florida bar is mandatory.
• Proven expertise in insurance litigation, with a solid grasp of insurance coverage issues.
• Prior experience in bad faith insurance cases would be considered favorably.
• Exceptional writing skills are a requirement, and previous experience as a federal or state appellate clerk would be an added advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to function effectively as a team player or independently.
• Dedication to delivering high-quality client service and a strong professional drive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee insurance litigation cases, which includes preparing legal documents and reviewing drafts, as well as trial preparation.
• Provide strategic legal advice on insurance coverage and bad faith insurance issues.
• Collaborate closely with clients and colleagues to develop effective case strategies and ensure exceptional client service.
