Job Summary:

The Real Estate Manager is responsible for overseeing the management of a multifamily or commercial property, ensuring its overall success and profitability.

Essential Duties:

• Create and maintain operating and capital budgets
• Manage rent collection and deposit
• Handle non-paying accounts and evictions
• Process accounts payable
• Maintain records and track assets
• Process deposit accounting statements
• Manage payroll
• Develop and implement marketing plans
• Supervise outreach marketing efforts
• Conduct market surveys
• Achieve and maintain occupancy and renewal targets
• Implement resident retention programs
• Lease apartments and process applications
• Recruit, train, and evaluate staff
• Resolve resident disputes
• Ensure data security
• Perform physical inspections and asset protection
• Other duties as assigned

Reports to: Regional Manager, Director of Operations, Vice President of Property Management, or designated corporate team member

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
• Preferred: Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) designation from NAA
• Certified Occupancy Specialist
• Experience with 50059 HUD Sites
• State required leasing license, if applicable
• Highly motivated and detail oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Basic computer skills
• Yardi Voyager Experience a plus
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to respond to emergencies and work weekends if needed
• Excellent communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 per year
