About Us

We are a leading poultry processor seeking a talented PSM Manager to join our team. As the PSM Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with the PSM & RMP program at our facility. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing, organizing, scheduling, and conducting training programs for our refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing, organizing, scheduling, and conducting training programs for the refrigeration system.
  • Aiding in the development, maintenance, and organization of paperwork and logs for the refrigeration department.
  • Reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of the SOP's for the refrigeration system, including up-to-date P&ID's.
  • Verifying the completion of all PM's for mechanical integrity and IIAR 6 compliance.
  • Ensuring proper labeling of all piping and accurate valve numbering.
  • Verifying the accuracy of all system P&IDs and making necessary corrections.
  • Maintaining all PSM documentation and training records relating to the PSM & RMP program.
  • Organizing, scheduling, and conducting PSM meetings.
  • Compiling and maintaining PSM action item logs and assisting in completing the listed items.
  • Coordinating training with local fire departments and the LEPC.
  • Providing seamless integration between the PSM/RMP programs and day-to-day operations, maintenance, projects, training, and leadership in the refrigeration department.
  • Leading all PSM/RMP audits with OSHA, EPA, PSM compliance contractors, and other agencies with the support of management.
  • Assisting the refrigeration department in parts acquisition, job planning, projects, planned maintenance, and testing to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working on/with an ammonia PSM/RMP program.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance.
  • Understanding of OSHA 1910.119 PSM Standard.
  • Familiarity with the ammonia refrigeration process.
  • Knowledge of IIAR ammonia system standards.
  • PSM/RMP training is strongly preferred.
  • Ammonia refrigeration training/certifications are strongly preferred.
  • Experience creating P&IDs (process and instrumentation diagrams) using AutoCAD.
