$275,000 to $300,000 + Bonus + SIGNING BONUS + Paid Relocation
*Must be Certified / Eligible in Mental Health
Monday-Friday (including weekends)
In this position, you will have a unique opportunity to provide outpatient care, consultative services, or a combination of the two. Consultations will primarily take place at the hospital, offering a diverse and fulfilling clinical experience.
Job Summary:
- Deliver comprehensive assessments and evidence-based treatments to patients in outpatient mental health care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address complex psychiatric needs in consultative services.
- Mentor and educate residents and medical students in the Mental Health residency program, which started in 2022.
- Become part of a collaborative and supportive environment focused on professional growth and development.
Additional Mental Health services include a medical complexity unit, a dedicated C/L service, extensive outpatient services throughout Berks County, including partial hospitalization and an Assertive Community Treatment Program. Other services provided are Medication Assisted Treatment, Behavioral Medicine Pain Management, and a Senior Assessment Program.
Qualifications
- MD, DO, or equivalent foreign degree
- Completion of ACMGE accredited mental health residency or fellowship program
- Certified or eligible in Mental Health
- Encouraging candidates who have recently completed their training to apply!
- A valid PA Medical License or the ability to obtain one is required.
