QA Manager

Our client is hiring for the position of Quality Assurance Manager in Monroe, Wisconsin. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the overall Quality Assurance Program at their facility. This established company specializes in the manufacturing of agricultural and industrial equipment.

  • Lead, train, and supervise the Quality Assurance Technicians and other team members assigned to the quality assurance department. The majority of technicians work on the first shift, with one person assigned to the second shift.
  • Educate and train employees on various quality control techniques.
  • Facilitate and lead process improvement teams, utilizing lean enterprise techniques, to drive continuous improvement efforts.
  • Oversee quality measurement and improvement activities to ensure compliance with the company's and customer's quality requirements for all products and programs.
  • Review engineering documentation and collaborate with Engineering to establish quality and reliability standards.
  • Analyze and summarize inspection data, identify areas for improvement, and conduct root cause analysis when issues arise.
  • Inspect raw materials and in-process products to assess quality and identify any deficiencies.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret production and inspection data to determine conformance to specifications of finished products.
  • Maintain the product quality documentation system by establishing and updating quality assurance procedures.
  • Collaborate with product service and warranty personnel to address and resolve manufacturing quality issues.
  • Advocate for quality concerns and ensure they are addressed appropriately.
  • Develop and implement a supplier quality assurance program.


  • A preferred qualification is a bachelor's degree in a technical field; however, relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Candidates should possess at least 5 years of experience in quality control, ideally in a similar manufacturing environment.
  • An ASQ Certification would be advantageous.
  • Candidates must have expertise in metal fabrication, strong QA methodology skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve root causes of problems.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
