Quality Assurance Superintendent

Exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Manager at a leading poultry processing plant in Goldsboro, NC.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide strong leadership and guide all plant Quality Control functions to ensure consistent product quality that exceeds customer, regulatory, and company requirements in terms of quality and safety.

· Collaborate in the development, documentation, and implementation of quality measurement procedures to continually monitor and maintain product quality.

· Ensure that current and future product specifications and programs are practical within the plant environment and provide operational support to guarantee the success of all programs.

· Oversee the enforcement of all food safety and quality standards outlined in the company's food safety programs and product specifications, while also ensuring proper documentation maintenance.

· Establish and maintain a professional working relationship, serving as the plant liaison with the USDA staff.

· Ensure effective communication of Quality Control programs, providing comprehensive training and mentoring to plant employees.

Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within HACCP, Quality Assurance, or Food Safety, along with a BS Degree or higher in poultry, animal, or food science. (Other degrees with relevant work experience may be considered.)

· Proven experience in a supervisory position.

· Strong knowledge of the poultry processing industry.

· Familiarity with plant functions such as production, maintenance, warehouse, shipping, sanitation, and GFSI concepts.
