Responsibilities:
- Drive quality improvements using quality tools and statistical methods
- Utilize metrology and statistical methods to diagnose and correct quality control practices
- Review supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and capability study information
- Perform internal audits to ensure compliance to ISO requirements
- Use probability, statistics, and data analysis to make decisions and solve problems
- Identify and implement appropriate preventative and corrective actions
- Handle quality issues for new product introduction
- Train staff on new quality concepts
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- 3 to 6 years of Quality Engineering experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing process improvements
- Proven problem-solving skills with use of statistical analysis
- ISO and internal audit experience
- CQE Certification is preferred
- Able to travel up to 5% to other Company or Supplier locations
- Good communication, both verbal and written, and computer skills
