Quality Manager – Paper Product Manufacturing
Our client is a leading international manufacturer in the paper products and specialty coatings industry. They are currently seeking a skilled Quality Control Manager to oversee the quality department at their state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in North America. This facility is located just north of Syracuse, NY. The Quality Control Manager will serve as the main point of contact for quality assurance, collaborating with production, supply chain, product management, sales, and suppliers. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that all materials meet customer quality specifications or are handled in accordance with company policies. The role also involves managing customer complaints, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing effective countermeasures.

The manufacturing facility is situated in a low-cost living region of Upstate New York, providing an attractive work location. While onsite work is required, there may be potential for a hybrid remote arrangement, subject to approval from the VP of Operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree or an equivalent level of education.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in quality assurance within a continuous process manufacturing environment.
- Preference for hands-on experience in paper product converting, coating, and basic quality testing and statistics.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Proficiency in complaint systems and other business management software, with SAP experience being desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and international colleagues.
COMPENSATION: The base salary for this position is in the range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, with an additional annual bonus of 10%.
